Education

The Education Committee is responsible for planning seminars designed to educate the membership and other interested persons on a variety of timely alpaca topics. If you are interested in participating in this committee please contact the board liaison:

Fiber

The Fiber Committee is looking for anyone interested in serving on the Fiber Committee. Our commitment is to the members and associate members to improve ways to market and utilize your yearly harvest of fiber. The Fiber Committee is active year round. In 2017 there will be a Fiber Committee seminar that will cover fiber related information as well as how to market your farm with social media. We are utilizing the marketing committee to help us market our ideas. If you are interested in joining the fiber committee please contact any board member.

Meetings will be on the 1st Tuesday of every month handled by a conference call. If you are interested in working with the fiber committee, please contact the committee chair.

Membership

The membership committee manages member renewal, recruitment and retention. They search out and implement member benefits. If you are interested in working with the membership committee, please contact the committee Board Liaison or chair.

Show

The Show Committee is responsible for all aspects of the planning and success of the New Jersey Alpaca Classic. To become involved in the show committee, please contact the Board Liaison or the Committee Chair:

Procedural

The procedural committee will be responsible for reviewing the by-laws and creating policy to implement change. They will also review the code of ethics and create a procedure that will be able to respond to members complaints regarding violations of the code. Website/Social Media

The website and social media committee is responsible for updating and maintaining the content of this site. Please note that the current Board has requested an updating of the current website and it is underway.Any concerns or corrections can be addressed through the Board Liaison:
